DId you hear about how their email system was down for a week? They "upgraded" and damn near lost everyones mail. Including business customers.

Yep!

And of course, there's the really good one a few years back when the main fibre backbone was cut between Auckalnd and Wellington. A rat or possum or something committed suicide by chewing through the main fibre line, then a farmer nearby drilled his postholer through the backup. Took out most of NZ's internet for a couple of days.

As it turns out they knew about the rat for a few days before the posthole incident, but never bothered to fix it until the backup was cut.

Duh! Ya gotta love big compaines!

I just switched over from Telstra to 3. Telstra have great coverage but they aren't very compedative price wise in Australia anymore.

I was on vodafone once but they were expensive as.

I am still stuck with Cunstra unfortunately. The next gen network is actually pretty good, and my phone is the first that is fully hearing aid compatible. (the samsung A701 if you were wondering) SO unless there is a better network and clearer response on the phone I will have to stay with them. and trying not to get my phone bill get out of control. Razz
