| That would be my version of a Thai beef salad. Because I don't like fish, I missed out the fish sauce.
But it goes like this...
Take a steak or two, cook so it is still pink in the middle, slice as thinly as possible.
Make a salad out of english spinach (lettuce would also work), red onion, coriander and whatever else that you can find that looks nice.
Make up a dressing of lime juice, finely chopped lemongrass, bit of garlic, whatever else you find in the kitchen. Let it sit for a while so the flavours mix.
Whack the meat on top of the salad, then hit it with the dressing.
The key is to buy everything fresh and too eat it ASAP. | |

| If you want to make it real Thai, throw in some fish sauce and brown sugar to the dressing.
